Our Story
Rees Mechanical was founded in 2020 by Brendan Rees, who recognised a gap in the market for specialist mechanical services in Central West NSW.
With a strong background in the drilling industry, Brendan set out to build a business grounded in expertise, reliability, and genuine understanding of on-site challenges.
Since then, Rees Mechanical has become a trusted partner for operators across the region.
Experience and Expertise
With nearly two decades in the industry, Brendan Rees brings hands-on experience and technical know-how to every job. He holds trade certifications in Mechanics (2008), Drilling (2013), and Auto Electrics (2016), and has worked across operations, field maintenance, and workshop roles for leading drilling companies.
Rees Mechanical specialises in drill rigs, hydraulic systems, and ancillary equipment for the exploration industry. Offering everything from routine servicing and diagnostics to overhauls, rebuilds, and custom modifications. The team is equipped to handle jobs large and small — supported by a strong network of suppliers and trades, and backed by a commitment to quality, innovation, and problem-solving.
